At first, the question "whom does it refer to?" or "whom does it concern?" or both of them together are answered by the thoughts created by the "stolen letter", - the motive to make the connection between the conscious and the unconscious and add meaning to it, which anyway, cannot be any different from the thing meant. Our weaknesses are revealed by the vanity of even one thought and cry out to the recipient "cancelled, send it back". Even if we realise this as a fact and report it, most of the time we feel guilty standing before a supposed social cannibalism we have created. Those pathetic weaknesses distract us from our objective, creating a guilt of violent acquisition (considering that it concerns us at least in part, the issue of theft or distraction) the guilt of distraction would be more suitable to say if we rationally examine the existence of the letter or a letter we initially think about the two people the letter concerns. Should the letter be lost or stolen it stop to concern those two people and a new pair is born. In this case, is the potential recipient or the sender that ought to feel guilty.. or perhaps the thief? Most likely is the sender who dares to cannibalise his words on a piece of paper. This sort of cannibalism born by the letter as a symbol of externalising experiences-not only its own-. This guilt is stalked by the kitsch as mention by Kundera. The sender will outline the emotion and ask for other people's pity -or at least for their understanding. The first tears won't be asked of everyone - especially if the story is not poignant enough or its content isn't so prone to identification. However, the second one, the kitsch tears will, regardless of being offered it or not, because this is when he will feel forgiveness or atonement. Kundera says that the source of kitsch is the deal with inside substance but he wonders what the foundation of inside substance is. At this point we return to the seminar by Lacan, at least the way I understand it, that the inside substance is scattered and there is no one identity but myriad parts of it. So the social cannibalism that you feel by letting out verbally things that do not concern you is the letting out of the different identities you've collected- and this is widely accepted. Having realised this, you and the potential recipient every time, until the letter reaches him or her both of you have the chance of atonement by kitsch.

Bachelard examines the house vertically. Motivated by house descriptions based on reality as well as dreams he constructs a psycho-diagram of the place. How does space affect us? The basement is surrounded by fear and an underground communication -literally and metaphorically-. I imagine the basement as well. There exists the accumulation of darkness closer to the meaning of hidden but also a communication as the well is part of a network of sources that fill it up with water. That network connects the well with the rest of the unit, that unit being its substance. Personally, I think of this well-basement as the unconscious and hidden objects in space. Those objects are hidden for various reasons, some to retain their value since their defects cannot be seen in the dark, others to balance the imbalance that they would cause out of the chaos ensured through their appearance. Time and time again haven't I looked for things that disappeared by their appearance? The fear of realisation, the fear of falsification, the fear of weight(net or otherwise) the fear of isolation and exclusion are fears hidden in objects. Burying the head of a subject in the ground is like to refusing to accept its existence, its own being, its substance. The only thing, however, it manages is to still feel its body. No matter how insignificant the enemy is any self-inflicted injury is serious enough for the subject-any subject- This is how it tries to keep in check its will through wrong translation. The part that can be seen can be compared to the ground floor - I will not place it on the other side of the basement regardless of the fact that concepts of hidden - unhidden are poles parts. This placing is due to habit which under no circumstances can be identified with transcending and dreaming of the attic. Unhidden objects are shared by invariable memories the so momentary, non-dream instances. I will therefore identify with the attic what I call transcendence : The elimination of fear. What is fear though? The fear of oblivion, the fear of cannibalism, the acceptance of individual identity. It's not so much distancing oneself as a deconstruction-the transcendence of the conscious and subconscious as a hopeful start. How many times haven't we felt reborn, starting from scratch? We all start with dreams... in the attic.
